This platform is created to receive and disseminate information on an online basis to members of Ilupeju Development Association. It is generally observed that the conventional communication mediums of texting, writing and one-on-one personal contacts are inadequate for our objective of total inclusion and effective information flows. Furthermore, the diversity in our membership domain requires a globalized device that facilitates sharing of valuable information of common interest among members. The creation of this platform will help these needs.

This site provides a veritable platform for mobilization, inclusion and socio- cultural interaction. IDA meetings can now take place on line real time. Our members in America, China, South Africa, Ghana etc can convocate with those in Okeji or Aita in Ilupeju at Utaa or Aran or Egunmo festivals. The site will be a home for diverse social and economic information on Ilupeju generally. It will also be a valuable tool for the enlightenment of our young ones, many of whom are not conversant with the knowledge of the people, places and events in Ilupeju. Again, evidently this site will bring Ilupeju-Ekiti into global attention.

It is indeed a pleasure to have this website created by the Committee inaugurated sometimes ago for this purpose. There is no doubt that the Chairman of the Committee, Mr Tunde Ajegbemika and other members have done a job of immense value and I commend their efforts. I want to assure you of continuous update of the site in order to sustain its relevance. I therefore please invite you to visit the site regularly and make it active. Also, we welcome suggestions and opinions that will help to further deepen and enrich the contents and improve the outlook of the site. It is our common duty to sustain its relevance for our developmental objectives.
